First comes Halloween, then comes Thanksgiving. And just like that- Winter is here! And what better time than now to show you the most beautiful collection of not one, but THREE winter white cakes. I've always wanted to do a photoshoot, but of course there was always something getting in the way of it. Until one cold Monday morning I woke up with this random, wonderful idea... and voila! I got to work but had little thought of where I was going with this. That's what I love about my job though. A lot of the times I will start baking my cakes but I don't really have a clear picture of what the finished product is going to look like. And before I know it an hour or two will go by and suddenly, I have it! So here's a little glimpse of Winter White that I am so so proud of.
Aside from the cakes, I decided to give my DIY skills a shot with the backdrop and I must say, thanks to Pinterest it came out better than I imagined! (pat on the back)
If you haven't noticed from previous cakes I've done, I have a strong obsession for frames (especially when they're gold and span across 3 tiers). Pair it with antlers, a pine cone, and magnolia and there you have it!
It is only necessary to give a HUGE shoutout to my talented friend, Masha, for capturing beautiful shots like these! Her attention to detail is just impeccable.
And there you have it! Lots of white on white, gold, and pops of green will make your next wintery project justttt perfect... but don't forget your props!
